The DIHK is the umbrella organization of chambers of commerce in Germany. The website relates to public display of Instutition and offers services to the press. In addition, the DIHK operates a knowledge management system to meet the information needs of their members adequately and to strengthen internal knowledge structures.

Both Internet applications got an new Look&Feel in modern design by yellow  and were upgraded to Web 2.0 technology standards. The main objective was to provide high functionality and usability for its vast amounts of data, for staff and public. Second, to increase the value and achieve emotional appeal of the website.
